Kota Tua Crowded by Foreign Tourists

The holiday of Eid ul Fitr is apparently not only used by residents in Jakarta and its surrounding areas to visit and enjoy the Kota Tua, West Jakarta. Many foreign tourists also visited the heritage building from in the colonial's era.

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, many foreign tourists are walking and enjoying the old buildings in Kota Tua. They are  also being photographed at every corner of the building such as, in the Fatahillah Museum, Wayang Museum, and Post Office Museum.

Additionally, the tourists look relax and taste the culinary in some cafe while watching a performance of folk entertainment.

Gerald, (37), one of foreign tourists from Germany expressed that Kota Tua is one of his objectives when holidaying in Jakarta. "I am very happy to come here," said Gerald with Indonesian haltingly, Tuesday (7/29).

Besides him, Paris (25), one of foreign tourists also admitted that she was happy to visit the Kota Tua area. This is because she can see old buildings with magnificent European architectures. "In addition to enjoying the Kota Tua buildings, we're also entertained with a variety of entertainment here," she exclaimed.
